Search Engine Marketing (SEM) is a form of internet marketing with the goal to attract more visitors to a website. By using different techniques (SEO and SEA), we increase the visibility within the search engine results pages (SERPS).
SEM is an umbrella term that covers two broad areas:
- Search Engine Optimization: Gaining traffic through SEO efforts. SEO means we will optimize a website technically and the content on it
